A POINT SHARED BETWEEN LIVERPOOL FC AND MANCHESTER UNITED AT ANFIELD
It was a frustrating game for the Reds as they feel like they were a better side in today as compared to their opposition.
Heading to this match, Jurgen Klopp's men were the favorites with more than 70%. When the two last met at Anfield,it was ended in a 7 - 0 embarrassment to Man United.
Liverpool threw everything they got but wasn't enough to break Ten Hag's man who defended so well. Klopp's men were pumped up in the first half of the game forcing corners from and creating more chance.
The solid defense of Ten Hag's man frustrated LFC players. On a post match interview, Virgil Van Dijk (LFC captain) expressed his frustrations when he criticised Manchester United's approach against Liverpool citing "only one team was trying to win" in their 0-0 draw.

Post Match Alisson spoke to Liverpoolfc.com about a frustration game they had against Man United.
Here is what he said when asked about this encounter.
"Yeah, unfortunately it’s a draw for us today, not what we were hoping for. But we have to take the good things that we did on the pitch. I think we dominated all the game, created a lot of chances, but still big areas to improve. We take the good things from here this afternoon: the clean sheet I think was really good, really solid defensively, the way we defended, aggressive in the moments we needed to be, stopping counters, giving them [just] one or two chances. This is really important for a team that wants to win something, that wants to do great things. [It] starts with a solid defence and we did that today.
Maybe we could improve in the creation phase in the last third of the pitch, creating better chances for ourselves, being more calm on the ball and making better choices. Sometimes we rushed a little bit, shooting balls that we could have passed to a player in a better position. But this is part of the game, we have to learn from that as quick as possible, as the season doesn’t give you too much time to improve.
In the early stages of the game there were moments where it feels like another goal thriller was going to come. But Man United had a different idea on that one. They allowed Klopp's men to have the majority of the ball, and maintained a solid wall at the back. This season Man United's defense is one of the best in the premier league, which explained why it was difficult for the host to penetrate the Red Devil's.
Man United didn't make a lot of promising progress upfront, having to defend most of the time. Only made one clear shot which was blocked by Alisson at the near post.
Arsenal are back on top of the table following their solid 2-0 victory over the Seagulls earlier today.LFC in Second.
